They are quick and simple to knit and make great gifts. Open ribbed cuff is fastened with a button, or make the closed cuff version. Make them in school colors or add a glitzy or furry cuff. Six sizes: Two sizes are for small children and four are for pre-teen to adult. Sized by foot length. Finished sizes - childrens small 5-1/2", medium 6-1/2". Pre-Teen to Adult - small 7-1/2", Med 8-1/2", Large 9-1/2", Ex Large 10-1/2". Needles used are double pointed US size 5 for children, Size 8 double pointed. Change needle size if necessary to obtain gauge. Suggested yarns: 10 ply wool or worsted weight for body and novelty yarn for cuffs.
