Drop Stitch Latch Tool. Have you ever dropped a stitch while knitting on your knitting machine and tried to relatch the dropped stitches? If you have then I know you will appreciate this little fix it tool. You have probably found out to your chagrin that if you relatch the dropped stitch from the side facing you on the machine that the repair will not be right,,,,, for when you turn the garment around to the front side where you can see it, you will see you have a purl stitch where a knit stitch ought to be!!!!!. What a bummer that is......! With this tool you will be able to comfortably reach around behind the knitted piece and latch the dropped stitch from the knit side - (the side away from you when you are machine knitting) and it will look great because the picked up stitch will be from the knit (correct) side. You almost need to be a contorsionist to do this with a standard latch tool! Our little tool lets you work comfortably from the blind side and latch up your dropped stitches so your garment looks great! What a great little tool - we know you will love it. The real wooden handle is approximately 5 inches long and with a 2 inch long metal shank (including the latch). Available in two sizes - DSLT-1 for standard gauge (4.5 mm) and DSLT-2 for Bulky & Mid Gauge (6.5/8.0/9.0 mm machines). This tool also works great if you want to do faux ribbing on most any plastic bed machine too (think Bond)! Wooden handle may be supplied round or with flats depending on availability - both are equally easy to use. Comes complete with plastic needle guard.
