Ann Norling Baby & Kid Basic Socks #26. This Ann Norling pattern is written for three gauges and two sizes. The socks pictured illustrate how the basic sock pattern can be jazzed up with pattern stitches and color work to make your own special socks. Use any stitch pattern which is a multiple of 4 or 8 stitches. The first set of numbers is for 1-4 shoe. The second set of numbers is for 5-13 shoe. Wool/nylon sock yarn or 100% wool and wool blends that are tightly plyed are recommended. Wool/nylon heel yarn or nylon to knit into the heel can also be used.  Ann Norling has, we believe, the best kids sock pattern on the market today.
