Gita Maria Enameled Decorative Pins - Gita Maria creations are made individually by master craftspeople using precision hand tools. Most pieces are made of copper then covered with a silver sterling plate. Gita's enamel is made from ground glass. The finely ground glass is placed on the silver shapes with great care then fired at 1000 degrees. A unique feature of Gita items is that both sides are enameled. The designs will never fade or discolor. Many of the colors are transparent which allows the silver to shimmer through the rainbow colors.
