G-Carriages - BrotherG-Carriage Parts. 3 point Point cams, and a few small parts. G-Carriage information. We have operating / Instruction manuals for most models of Brother G-carriage (see our "Knitting Machine Manuals" section). We no longer repair G-carriages because most replacement parts are not available from our suppliers. G-Carriages have not been manufactured in over 10 years. We do not recommend buying them because they do have a lifespan of about 10,000 hours. While it would last most hobby knitters a lifetime, a production knitter can wear one out in about 2 years and replacement or spare parts are not available.. There are many being sold that have reached their lifetime limit so "let the buyer beware"! Caution - a DIY person should use caution when repairing a G-carriage. There are many small parts which are easily lost. Assembly and disassembly can be very tedious. The inside of a G-carriage has many magnets and small parts and once a small part is dropped into it, it is not easily removed as magnets inside the G-carriage can "catch" it. Be sure to use care and proper caution when repairing a G-carriage. Some damages cannot be undone or are very costly to repair once they have taken place. Product CategoriesProducts
