Ladder Yarn - This yarn has a special quality of two strands of very thin yarn with regularly spaced patches of yarn attached between the two strands. This makes the yarn very light and gives it a special visual quality when knitted. Several different varieties gives each garment a different look, even when using the same pattern. Some types can be a little difficult to knit as they have a tendency tangle easily before being knitted.
